Risk Assessment updateThe risk assessment matrix has today been updated to match the latest CAA best practice template.
Any historic jobs where you have completed a risk assessment will still contain the historic data but they will refer to the old Risk assessment matrix which is below for reference.

As the inferred values of each of the matrices are different it is impossible to migrate old data into the new format so please save this image for referencing old Risk assessment values against historical jobs.

UK CAA registrationAs UK operators will no doubt be aware that new regulation in the UK makes registration mandatory from: 30 November 2019. Further detail can be found here https://register-drones.caa.co.uk/ You will find the facility to record these details within Dronecloud in "Settings/company" |

Flight logs/ weatherWe have added the ability for users to add weather details against flight logs. This is an optional step within "flight planning/logs" and "Fleet/flight logs" |

LAANC LAANC (Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability) is now available for free to our US customers and early indications are that this upgrade is proving very useful.
Note: The LAANC capability will appear under the "Authorisations" tab only when the job area is within a LAANC authorised airspace sector. If you are in a territory that does not require this feature please ignore this tab when planning flights. |
