The advisories section of flight planning provides the ability to inspect and acknowledge air and ground advisories for the given job area. Sections can be expanded by clicking the section heading (see 1). The advisories for the selected section will be expanded, showing more detail. If you wish to highlight the given advisory on the map, click the location pin (see 2).
To acknowledge that you have inspected the advisory, select the "Acknowledge" radio button (see 3). Once acknowledged, the section heading will reflect that you have acknowledged 1 advisory for this section. Once all advisories are acknowledged in a section, the section heading will turn green, to show that this section is complete.
If you feel a section is unnecessary, it can be marked as such by selecting the cancel icon, highlighted as item 4. Once selected, the section will be displayed as "Not applicable".
Adding notes against advisories
Individual advisories can be expanded, by clicking inside the shown area below.
Once clicked, the advisory information window will open, allowing for the addition of Notes, attachments and checklist items.
1. Comment section
Comments can be added against the advisory. The form will save your comment as you type. Comments added against an advisory will be added to the flight planning pdf download (see "ADD LINK").
Attachments can also be added against an advisory. Simply add an attachment name, search for the file and click the "add" button to attach. Attached documents will appear in the attachments table, where they can be downloaded or removed, as demonstrated in the above image.
All attachments will be collected together in the "Documents" section of Flight planning (See "ADD LINK")
3. Checklist Actions
You may decide that certain actions are required for the advisory. Perhaps an ATZ needs to be contacted, or you with to pass tasks onto the Pilot in command in the field. The checklists section allows you to add tasks against an advisory. All checklist items added in this way will be collected together into the "Job Specific checklist". This can be found in the checklists section (see "ADD LINK").
