Below are step-by-step instructions for installing and using the app on Android mobile devices and DJI controllers.
The app can also process logs from other supported drone vendors β as long as the files are accessible on the device where the app is installed, you can upload them too.
Please note: we currently support flight logs from DJI, Parrot ANAFI, Velos and Anzu drone models.

π² Installation Instructions
β Important: Uninstall Previous Version First (for Version >= 0.2.0)
If you already have an older version of Dronecloud Log Sync (e.g., Version 0.1.0) installed, please uninstall it before installing a version >= 0.2.0.
How to Uninstall the App:
A. On Android Mobile Devices:
Go to Settings > Apps (or Apps & Notifications). Find and tap Dronecloud Log Sync. Tap Uninstall and confirm.
B. On DJI Controllers (e.g., RC Pro, Smart Controller):
Go to the Settings app. Tap Apps or Applications. Find and select Dronecloud Log Sync. Tap Uninstall and confirm.
A. On Android Mobile Devices

Download the APK
- Open the link above in your deviceβs browser.
- The APK file will begin downloading.

Install the APK
- Once downloaded, tap the APK file in your notification bar or open it from your Downloads folder.
- If prompted, allow installation from unknown sources:
- Go to:
Settings > Security > Install unknown apps - Enable for your browser or file manager.

- Follow the prompts to complete installation.

Open the App
- Find Dronecloud Log Sync in your app drawer and tap to open.
B. On DJI Controllers (e.g., RC Pro, Smart Controller)
Option 1: Direct Download on Controller
- Open the browser on your DJI controller.
- Go to: https://app.dronecloud.io/mobile-app/apk
- Download the APK file.
- Open the File Manager, go to the Downloads folder, and tap the APK to install.
- Allow installation from unknown sources if prompted.
Option 2: Using a USB Drive
- Download the APK to your computer.
- Copy the APK file to a USB drive.
- Plug the USB drive into your controller.
- Open the File Manager, locate the APK, and tap to install.
- Allow installation from unknown sources if prompted.
π How to Use the App

- Open the Dronecloud Log Sync app from your app drawer or home screen.
- Log in using your Dronecloud credentials.

Upload DJI Drone Logs
- Go to the Log Uploader section in the menu.
- In the Allowed Log Folders add the folders where the logs are stored. Typical locations:
DJI/dji.go.v5/FlightRecordAndroid/data/dji.go.v5/files/FlightRecord
- In the Options section select the Max File Age (you can pick also a custom date range) and tap on Scan All Folders.
- In the Scan Results section select the files you want to upload and tap on Upload Selected.

Check Upload Status
- The app will show upload status and display any errors that may occur.

- Open the Dronecloud Log Sync app from your app drawer or home screen.
- Log in using your Dronecloud credentials.

Upload DJI Drone Logs
- Go to the Upload Logs section in the menu.
- Use the file picker to find your DJI flight logs.

.txtlog file you wish to upload. - Tap Upload to begin processing.

Check Upload Status
- The app will show upload status and display any errors that may occur.
β After Upload
Once youβve successfully uploaded a log file, head over to the Dronecloud web app and navigate to Fleet > Flight Logs > Unassigned.
Your latest log should appear right at the top β logs are sorted by Upload Date (newest first).
In most cases, the log will begin processing immediately and show up in the table within a few moments. If you donβt see it right away, just give it a minute or two.
