Maintenance is an Enterprise Dronecloud feature. It can be used to track all upcoming, overdue and completed tasks on your aircraft fleet.
Our maintenance feature can be used to:
- Track when maintenance is upcoming, due and overdue
- Notify aircraft owners and admins of upcoming tasks
- Record all completed tasks
- Export data for reporting
You can view all upcoming and completed maintenance tasks via the Maintenance page (accessed through the side menu).
There are 2 ways to access maintenance:
1. Via the side menu, at the bottom of the "Fleet" section.
2. In an aircraft details window (accessed from the Aircraft table)
Recurring maintenance tasks
For tasks that are due on a set frequency i.e. annual services, setting up a recurring task may be the easiest way to track when maintenance is upcoming. A template can be set up for multiple aircraft with the same maintenance criteria.
To set up a recurring maintenance task, go to fleet --> maintenance and select "Templates" from the top left drop down.
Note; templates are only accessible to your organisation Dronecloud admins.
Select "Create template". If you want to create a template with similar details to another e.g. an annual service with the same checklist as another template, you can use the "create from existing" option. This will copy all details from a template you select.
Fill out the name and select the type of your template. You can add an (optional) description. This information will be shown when a task related to this template is completed, so add any necessary information required for the individual who will be completing the task e.g. what attachments should be uploaded.
You can search for aircraft of a certain make / model e.g. searching DJI will show all aircraft with DJI as the manufacturer, regardless of if this is included in the aircraft name.
In the next tab, you can create any checklists for your template. Checklists are optional.
In the frequency tab, you can set up to 3 triggers for your template.
The tasks status will be triggered by whichever trigger is reached first. E.g. if you have a visual service set to occur every 4 weeks OR every 10 flights, if 10 flights are reached the task will be due, even if this has occurred in less than 4 weeks.
Once a task has been completed, all counts will be reset.
Pressing the "Create Template" button will save your template and show the following. You can either "View tasks" which will show all tasks related to this template, or close and return to the maintenance homepage.
