Dronecloud tracks the progress of an operation by statuses. These can be seen in the long blue oval in the top right of the operation planning header.
Here is a summary of these statuses and what they mean:
- “Planning” – When a new operation is created, it will be given the status “Planning”.
- “Flight Scheduled” – Once your flight plan is complete (and approvals have been given if relevant), the status is changed to "Flight Scheduled"
- "In Flight" - The status of your operation will automatically change to "In Flight" once the start date and time of your operation is reached.
- "Post-flight" – Once you have confirmed your flights are complete, the status updates accordingly.
- "Complete" -Once you have finished adding any logs or post-flight notes and mark the operation as complete, the status updates to "Complete"
- "Cancelled" - A user can choose to Cancel an operation from the Post-Flight tab. This is typically used if the operation did not take place, for some reason, but the organisation still requires a record of the plan.
- “Awaiting approval” – If approvals are required for your operation, once you have completed flight planning your operation is submitted for approval, and the status is changed to "Awaiting approval". if the operation is approved, the status will move to "Flight Scheduled" or "In Flight" as appropriate.
- "Rejected" - If approval is required but the approver rejects the operation, the status will move to "Rejected". The approver is required to submit a reason for rejection. The operation will need to be re-planned at this stage.
At each stage, you can view information in previous pages in the operation planning panel but editing will be limited depending on the operational stage. If you need to change a field that you are not able to edit, you will need to re-plan the operation.
