Any Administrator of your organisation's Dronecloud account can invite new users, up to the limit of your subscription.
To invite someone, go to Settings → Users in the left-hand menu, enter their email address in the field provided, and click Invite. They'll receive an invitation to register and verify their details.
Assigning Roles
Administrators can assign roles to any user by clicking their name in the Users table. Note that not all roles are available on every subscription plan.
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Organisation Owner | Full access to all operations and fleet across the organisation. Can manage user roles, including assigning other users as Administrators. To change the Organisation Owner, contact support@dronecloud.io. |
| Organisation Admin | Same access as Organisation Owner, but cannot assign the Administrator role to other users. |
| Pilot | Can create and manage their own operations. |
| Standard | Basic access to the platform. Cannot create operations. |
| Emergency Pilot | When enabled, grants access to the Quick Activate function for rapid flight planning in time-critical situations. |
| Approver | When Internal Approvals are enabled, can review and approve operations submitted by Pilots. |
| Dashboard Viewer | View-only access to key reporting dashboards. |
A few things to note
A user must have the Pilot role to be able to create operations.
Depending on your organisation's configuration, users may have access to different levels of data. For example, if Teams is enabled, Admin users can see all operations and assets organisation-wide, while non-Admin users can only see operations and assets belonging to their own team.
